Nicki Fazio grew up in Portland, Maine, where she currently resides. She realized her love for art at an early age, and continued to learn and grow as an artist with the support of her family, peers, and teachers.

Nicki graduated cum laude from the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford with a BFA in illustration, and a minor in graphic design. She studied under talented illustrators such as Dennis Nolan, Doug Andersen, and Bill Thomson.

Her medium of choice is pen and ink, and she enjoys experimenting with new techniques. Some of her favorite artists are Alphonse Mucha and Robert Lawson. Nicole is currently pursuing a career in editorial and children’s book illustration.
